National Student Survey (NSE)

Help improve your degree programme!

How would you rate your degree programme? What do you think of your lecturers, course content and the examination and assessment methods? The National Student Survey (NSE) is a large-scale nationwide annual survey offering students an opportunity to share their opinions about their degree programme. The NSE is usually conducted in the period between January and March. The exact start and end date are determined annually by Studiekeuze123. The results are then published on the Studiekeuze123 website in June.

So how did your degree programme do?

Let's get to work

The NSE provides Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) with valuable and reliable data on the things you and your fellow students are satisfied or dissatisfied with. Your degree programme department can use this information to further improve its teaching activities where necessary. Now that all NSE results are available, degree programme departments can discuss these findings with their students (maybe with you too!) and lecturers in order to figure out what they mean in practice. How and when should we work together to improve our teaching activities? After all, it is all about ensuring we have the most up-to-date and flexible teaching and research.

Why does the NSE matter?

  • Improve the quality of your degree programme
Only with your feedback on what you are satisfied with and where there is room for improvement can we make further improvements to the quality of our education. Contemporary, flexible education, now and in the future. That's our goal.
  • Help prospective students
By completing the questionnaire, you will be helping prospective students choose the right programme for them. After all, anyone considering following a degree programme will be keen to hear the experiences of other students.

NSE Questionnaire

The questionnaire has been shortened somewhat since NSE 2021 (it should take no more than 15 minutes to complete) and is more tailored to current developments.

Anonymity

Your privacy is extremely important. That’s why the survey is conducted in a way that safeguards your privacy. The results are processed in anonymised data files and presented in a way that ensures they cannot be traced back to you.
See the Studiekeuze123 website for more information about this (in Dutch).
