Holland Scholarship for AUAS-students going abroad

The Holland Scholarship is meant for students who want to study, do an internship or conduct research outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. The EEA consists of the EU, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT

The Holland Scholarship is a one-time allowance of 1250 euros, for the compensation of study costs.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Please note that: These criteria are a minimum to have your application looked at by the selection committee of your study programme or faculty. Application does not guarantee a scholarship. There is a select number of scholarships to allocate. In case of equal eligibility we will proceed to selection by lottery.

The criteria are;

  • You are applying for a scholarship for a semester abroad planned in the future.
    • Application for mobility in semester 1; 1 December until 1 May.
    • Application for mobility in semester 2; 1 September until 1 November.
  • You are enrolled in a full time AUAS programme.
  • You will be spending at least 7 weeks abroad.
  • You are planning to attain a minimum of 10 ECTS.
  • Your studies, internship or research will take place outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. The EEA consists of the EU, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway.
  • You have filled in a complete application form.
  • You do not have any delay in your study programme.*

*With an exception for the criteria regarding study delay in the academic year 2021-2022

Before you apply for the Holland Scholarship you need to contact the International Office of your faculty to inquire about the specific conditions of your application.

To apply for the Holland Scholarship, please use this form. The application deadline for the academic year 2021/2022 is 1 May 2021. Additional deadline November 1st 2021 for mobility in semester 2.
