Examination Board
Your faculty or degree programme's examination board determines, in an objective manner, whether you meet the requirements of the Teaching and Examination Regulations (Dutch: OER) and the exit qualifications for the degree programme.

Teaching and Examination Regulations
The Teaching and Examination Regulations (TER) is an important document containing all regulations on prior education, exemptions, the study programme, examinations and degree certificates, assessment and testing, academic careers and the cum laude regulation. You can find the TER here.
Suspicion of fraud and/or plagiarism
If there are grounds for suspecting that a student is guilty of fraud or plagiarism, the examiner or invigilator is obliged to report this to the Examination Board.
Procedure
- If there are serious grounds for suspecting that a student is guilty of fraud or plagiarism, the examiner
- Before reaching a decision, the Examination Board will give the student the opportunity to be heard.
- Examination Board will decide whether the student is actually guilty of fraud, including serious fraud, or plagiarism. If that is the case, the Examination Board will notify the student in writing, specifying the associated sanctions.

Appeal against a decision of the Examination Board
A decision of the Examination Board is binding on all parties involved. Students may lodge within six weeks an appeal with the Examination Appeals Board (EAB) if they do not agree with a decision made by the Examination Board.
