Working online with Microsoft 365

With Microsoft 365, you work together easily and securely online in the cloud. You can:

  • Video call, chat and collaborate online with fellow students share files and work in them at the same time
  • Access your files anytime, anywhere: on your phone, tablet, laptop or PC

Microsoft 365 apps

Microsoft 365 consists of various online applications and Office. Office is the collective name for Word, PowerPoint and Excel; these apps can also be used offline.

You can use useful apps, such as:

  • Microsoft Teams: video calling, collaboration
  • OneDrive: personal file storage
  • OneNote: digital notepad
  • Forms: creating questionnaires
  • Visio: create diagrams and flow charts
  • Lists: organize data
  • Bookings: schedule appointments
  • Planner: plan group tasks
  • To Do: make to-do lists
  • Sway: designing reports
  • Whiteboard: online brainstorming
  • Stream: record and manage videos
  • Power platform: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate

Installing Microsoft 365

After you install two-step verification, you can download and install Microsoft 365 apps.

Microsoft 365 apps

Follow these steps to download the Microsoft 365 apps.

  • Check for updates to your operating system and, if necessary, run them first
  • Uninstall the old Microsoft packages
  • Go to microsoft365.com
  • Log in with your AUAS ID and password
  • Click on the 'Install Apps' button
  • Follow the instructions on your screen
