Reception
The reception desk helps ensure a safe and well-organised study and work environment.
What can I expect?
The reception desk is responsible for:
- Making opening and closing rounds before and after the reception desk's opening hours.
- Answering the telephone at the reception desk.
- Providing information to and receiving/directing visitors.
- Alerting the CER team and emergency services in the event of emergencies.
- Granting admittance to employees and visitors who are authorised or registered to use a parking space.
- Lending and registering keys and access passes.
- Stopping and arranging the ejection of undesired persons.
- Registering and reporting incidents, notifications and special circumstances relating to safety and security.
- Registering and managing lost property.
