Microsoft Office

OneDrive

We are gradually moving our work to the cloud using Office 365. This will allow for new possibilities in online cooperation and file storage. As a first step, we are giving you access to OneDrive, which offers you 1 TB of personal storage space in the cloud. Along with OneDrive, you will also gain access to the online versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, among other programmes.

What can you do with OneDrive?

  • All your files, be they documents, videos or presentations, can be saved right there in the cloud.
  • You can access them anytime and anywhere from any device that is connected to Wi-Fi.
  • You can share files with others both within and outside of AUAS and work on those files simultaneously.

Focus on security

By transferring our work to the cloud, many different items will become accessible from a single account. This easy manner of cooperation offers many quality-of-life improvements and helps make work more fun. However, there are also risks involved, which is why you will need to secure your own files on OneDrive with an additional login step: two-factor authentication. This means that, in certain cases, you will have to confirm your login to OneDrive on your phone. You will only be able to start working with OneDrive after you have set up two-factor authentication.

Setting up two-factor authentication

Setting up two-factor authentication only takes a few steps. Please see the instructions.

Tip!

OneDrive works best with Office ProPlus. You can download Office ProPlus for free through AUAS.
