Any questions on Brightspace?

Check these FAQ's to find the answer to your question.

You log in to Brightspace using your AUAS e-mail address and corresponding password.

You can request a new password via Select 'Account activation / Forgot Password.

The site asks for your User ID. This is your AUAS ID. Your AUAS ID is provided in the welcome letter you were sent by email after you enrolled at the AUAS.

If you want to change your password, log in on using your AUAS ID and password and then choose the option 'My Information'. Do not forget to click 'Apply' when finished.

In that case you are not yet enrolled to your courses. Navigate to the Course Selector on MyAUAS and enroll to the courses of your programme. Still don't see any courses in Brightspace? Please contact Servicedesk ICT Services, 020 595 1402 or ICTS Selfservice.

Yes, you can. The website of Brightspace is well accessible for all devices. In addition, you can simply navigate to Brightspace via the MijnHvApp. This app can be found in the Playstore for Android and the Appstore for iOS.

For students there is an app available. This app is called Brightspace Pulse.

Please note!

We advise to NOT use the Brightspace Pulse app to visit your course content and activities. The information in this app is not as rich and complete as on the (mobile) website. Therefore you might miss important information. Use this app only to stay informed about the latest course updates through push notifications.

You can not delete courses from your course list. However, you can pin or unpin courses from the course overview. Pinned courses appear on top of your course list.

At this moment you can only find deadlines and start, and end dates of activities and study material in your Brightspace Calendar. It is possible to connect this calendar with your own (iCal) calendar application.
