Getting started
Having installed two-step verification, you are granted access to your personal Microsoft 365 environment by logging in on office.com with your AUAS ID. Here you can find all apps from Microsoft.
Bookings allows you to create a booking calendar alone or with your fellow students. Other people can then book a time slot with you. Ideal for scheduling interviews with respondents, for example.
Forms allows you to quickly design a form, survey or quiz and share it with your respondents. Forms creates useful diagrams and graphs of the results itself, but you can also download the data as an Excel or .csv file for your own analysis.
Lists allows you to organise important data into a list. It is similar to Excel but contains useful standard templates for planning events or keeping track of your costs and expenses, for example.
Microsoft Teams makes it possible to study together with your peers, work on documents together, share your screen and engage in video calls with one another.
Microsoft 365 also contains Office that includes apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft’s online services grant you as a AUAS student both individual access to these programmes as well as the possibility to edit files simultaneously with your peers as you work together on projects.
OneDrive provides you with safe personal file storage in the Microsoft 365 cloud. You have 1 terabyte of storage space to save your files and make backups. Additionally, you can easily share files with fellow students.
OneNote is your digital notepad. You can easily keep track of all your notes in different sections and pages. This makes it easy to find your notes. OneNote can be used via office.com, as well as via the app on your PC or phone. All notes are automatically saved and synchronised. Super convenient!
As soon as you are enrolled at the AUAS, you can use an AUAS e-mail address in Microsoft 365. You read your e-mail via Outlook. Read everything you need to know about E-mail here.
Go directly to your inboxLinking Planner to your Team in Microsoft Teams allows you to easily plan and track different group tasks. You can assign the tasks to yourself or members of your Team. Ideal for group assignments!
Sway allows you to create great reports, presentations, newsletters or records. It is a good alternative to PowerPoint. You can start with one of the standard templates or create a new design yourself.
To Do makes it easy for you to keep track of your personal and study-related tasks. Create handy to-do lists for yourself or organise your tasks for the coming day or week. This makes it easy for you to keep track of all your tasks and you'll never forget an assignment or deadline again!
Whiteboard allows you to create a digital whiteboard. This is useful for visualising brainstorming sessions, for example. You can start a Whiteboard at the same time as a video call in Microsoft Teams so you can brainstorm visually with your fellow students remotely.
